An insight into the tradition of Islamic Intellectual Scholarship.

Who should we take our knowledge of Islam from?  Do we need to rely on formally trained and qualified scholars or can anyone who is simply sincere become an authority on Islam? Why are there differences of opinion between scholars?  How are we supposed to know who is right and whom we should follow?

These questions and many others are increasingly on the minds of university educated Muslims who have not had a chance to formally study the disciplines of classical Islamic learning.

Come join us as we explore and understand how the scholars of tafsir, hadith and fiqh have tackled such issues.
