At several places in the Qur’an Allah ta’Ala specifically Calls out to us.

Such verses appear at around 150 places in the Qur’an, and focus on a range of topics and themes including Oneness of Allah, prophethood, belief, piety, effects of sins, blessings of Allah and many others. This direct address is Allah ta’Ala’s Call. Hearken to this call this Ramadan.

The Call, is a series of lectures on the translation and commentary  of the verses in the Qur’an that start with the letter of calling such as “O you who believe”, “O humanity” and others.

Course Overview:
Each session will cover a particular topic and shed light on how that topic is highlighted at various places in the Qur’an where Allah ta’Ala Addresses us.

Session 8: Purifying our Earnings & Sustenance
Session 9: Patience and Gratitude-Two Sides of a Coin
Session 10: Repentance- Mending the Broken
Session 11: Connecting with Allah ta’Ala

About the Instructor:

Ustadhah Warda Siraj was raised in Karachi and received her BBA in Marketing with Honors from the College of Business Management (CBM). She continued her studies and then received her MBA in Marketing from the Institute of Business Administration (IBA). She began her pursuit of classical Islamic learning in 2009 studying Quran, Tafsir, Hadith, Fiqh, Usul al-Fiqh, and Arabic under traditional scholars and has completed the Dars-e-Nizami Course from Zaynab Academy . Warda also delivers talks on purification of the heart and drawing closer to Allah swt and has taught various courses including Fiqh &Inheritance law to university students and young professional women.
