As a university student I see everyday giving rise to a new version of ‘Islam’, a different take on its social, legal, and spiritual aspects. Zaynab Academy is my anchor. It has given me roots to stand sure when I get hit by waves of ‘reformed’ ideas. The warmth of the place is invaluable, the smiles are priceless.

Whether the classroom is well equipped, makeshift or virtual – the learning space is always the heart. And that is what learning at Zaynab Academy is all about. Adab, mahabbat for the Tradition, the Ilm, the Amal – are the most cherished lessons. Learnt and relearnt, more than my girdaans.
