Maximizing Rizq

And if Allah had extended [excessively] provision for His servants, they would have committed tyranny throughout the earth. But He sends [it] down in an amount which He wills. Indeed He is, of His servants, Acquainted and Seeing. Surah Ash-Shura[42:27]

Rasool Allah (swt) said: “Inna-rizqa la-yatlubu-l-abda, kama yatlubu-hu ajalu-hu

It’s all a rat race:

In today’s materialistic world, man has made ‘the achievement of food and rizq’ his primary concern. This was never so important in one’s life as it is nowadays. While striving to earn a living, man easily ends up offending his Maalik. He stops distinguishing between halaal and haraam. It looks as if it’s a rat race, where everyone wants to earn more and better than ever before.

Medical Hazards

It is also true, that the number of diseases linked with/generated by a full stomach have exponentially increased.

Over-consumption of salt à Blood Pressure

Over consumption of sugar à Diabetes

Over consumption of fatty foods à Cardiac Diseases

Research can easily verify that the number of casualties resulting from over-eating is much higher than those caused by under-eating. Yet people complain a lot and they are always stressed out.

Dissatisfaction with what one has – wealth is ‘everything’:

Every household is caught up in this rizq-related anxiety. Even though each person in the household, including women, is employed and has a separate vehicle, yet they all complain. I remember when I was young, beggars he used to ask for food. Then came a time when they started begging for 5 rupees (to buy a cigarette) instead of food and roti. The saail of today, however, asks for 50 rupees instead of 5 so that he can get credit for his cell phone. The situation has become so dire that a petty woman is considered to be lucky even if she is bay-amal and distant from Allah (swt). Similarly a man is considered to be lucky if he is wealthy, even if he is ugly and dim-witted. He is called naïve and bhola (in a good way) even if he utters a word of stupidity.

So basically the way to gauge ‘izzat’ and honor has changed tremendously. Irrespective of taqwa and amal, a wealthy man is automatically thought of as an honorable man.

All rizq-related matters are in the hands of Allah(swt):

Many people come to me and complain of being victims of black magic because they feel that their rizq has suddenly become scarce. Don’t they realize that by saying so, they are actually equating Allah (swt) with mere mortals?

If Allah wants to give rizq to someone, the entire human population put together cannot stop that rizq.

Similarly if Allah wants to take away his rizq from someone, the entire human race cannot cause any hindrance in this plan of Allah.

Why all this frustration, when Allah Himself has taken the responsibility of providing rizq to His people? It is not a momin’s place to be frustrated like this. The way a momin thinks is: ‘I just need to do harakah [make effort] for my rizq, and it is Allah who will Put barakah in my harakah; I will get what I am destined to get, no matter what.’

Example from Hadith:

Our Shariah is extremely gracious. A person came to Rasool Allah (sws) and shook hands with him. Rasool Allah (sws) noticed that his skin and hands were extremely hard and rough and asked him the reason. The man said that he was a labourer who worked with stones to earn his living. Rasool Allah (sws) smiled and said: ‘Al-kaasibu habeebullah’.  This means that a person who strives for his family is actually doing ibadah of Allah.

Walking the Middle Ground:

So Islam teaches us to walk the middle ground.

There are two extremes

1) A person totally neglects the world and engages in ibadah all the time. This is monasticism (rahbaaniyyat) and is forbidden.

2) A person totally neglects Allah(swt) and Islam and devotes all his energies to worldly matters. This is abaahiyyat and this is also forbidden.

So one needs to walk the middle ground. He should work to fulfill basic responsibilities.

The Sparrow Example:

Shaqeeh Balkhi (ra) wanted to travel to another city for the need of earning and he went with his friends but he came back after a few days.  Ibrahim Adam (ra) asked him the reason for coming back so quickly. He said: ‘When I was on my way I saw an injured sparrow which couldn’t fly. A healthy sparrow came and gave it food. I thought to myself, that the Allah who gave rizq to an injured sparrow can surely give rizq to me too so I came back’. Ibrahim (ra) said: ‘Don’t compare yourself to an injured being. Work like a powerful man and earn so that you can feed yourself as well as other people.’

Searching for a livelihood:

   Shaqiq Bilqi (ra)went went to earn his livelihood in some other city.  Some days later, he came back to his hometown, when asked what happened said that I was going on my way, and saw an injured bird who couldn’t fly. A healthy bird came to it and placed a seed in front of it, and the injured bird ate it. So I thought in my heart; that that Almighty who even gives food to an injured bird would also give rizq to me. So I came back.

   Ibrahim  Ad’am (ra) said that look, do not adopt the condition of the m’azoor, the helpless. Be powerful, make an effort, earn, and feed yourself as well as Allah’s creation.

So the Shariat does not say that we should remain helpless and do nothing →That a youth should be such that his sleep is not fulfilled until 2 p.m.

Hadith:  That to earn a halal living is also fardh/obligatory.

→ And also said at the same time that this should not be such that one misses his prayers. You might then say that I don’t have any leisure for prayer.

So this is the beauty of the deen of Islam, that it gives us a balanced path.

Keep in mind that the matter of the stomach is not just for this life, but also for after the grave.

   If a person lives in the world in a state of disobedience to Allah, what will he get to eat in Jahannum? Zaqqum. What will he get to drink? Wisleen. So eating and drinking will also be a necessity there.

   So to spend this limited life in disobedience and make the punishment of the afterlife wajib, mandatory for yourself, how does this make sense.

   So in the matter of rizq, a person should be careful of halal and haram.

Needs of a human are less than the animals that depend only on Allah:

   The stomach of a human is so small, it gets filled by two rotis.

   If the stomach was bigger than one might worry about filling it constantly.

   But no matter how much food is placed before a person, he can’t eat more than two rotis.

   Animals have very large stomachs; the elephant eats greens by the ton.

   if you look at the hippo one feels that it is just a stomach to which Allah swt has attached legs. Whenever you see it, it is eating.

   The blue whale, a fish, its weight increases by more than 200 pounds every day.  A human himself doesn’t usually weigh as much as 200 pounds. So if something gains weight by 200 pounds every day, imagine how much it would eat? Allah gives rizq to that animal as well. And a two-roti eating human is worried.

The tawakkul of the birds versus the human:

   Look at this state of things, that birds fly out from their homes on empty stomachs, and come back with them filled.

   And the human man sets out from his house with a full stomach from his breakfast, and comes back with an empty stomach in the evening, and asks his wife to get him food quickly.

To fill the stomach is not the only task

   Hadith-e-Mubaraka says: Aksaru shab’an fidduniyya aksaran fi ju’an fil Akhirah. ‘

That stomach which is often full in this world, will often remain empty in the Akhirah. So this should not be the goal of life. Yes, man has this necessity, he should fulfill this as a necessity.

The Ulama have written a strange thing:

   The one who has the habit of filling his stomach, his advice (naseehat) doesn’t have any effect on others, and the advice and guidance of others doesn’t have any effect on him.

   This was written in the Fatwahe Hindiyya.

The doors of our rizq might have been closed by our sins?

   Why do we think thatfor every small thing that someone must have done some magic on us, that there is this asar or that asar.

   They run after actions and destroy their own imaan.

→ If there is darkness in a room, one thinks that the doors and windows are closed.  He doesn’t think that someone has done some action and so the room is in darkness. He gets up and opens a window, that lets in the light. If there is no fresh air, he opens a door.

→ We should also think that if we are in a bad situation, what has closed these doors and how can we open them?

There is a point here: Tadbeer is the bowl, and only Allah is the Giver.

So when the Almighty is the Giver, why should we worry?

Allah swt has called wealth “khayr”.

[Surah al-‘Adiyaat: 8]

 وَإِنَّهُ لِحُبِّ الْخَيْرِ لَشَدِيدٌ

(And surely he is, in love of wealth, intense.)

Wealth is called the qiyyama.

The Quran has called two things a qiyama. One is the Baitullah.

   (Al-Maida: 97)

 جَعَلَ اللَّـهُ الْكَعْبَةَ الْبَيْتَ الْحَرَامَ قِيَامًا لِّلنَّاسِ

(Allah has made the Ka’bah, the Sacred House, standing for the people)

   This is because the Baitullah is the basis for the qiyam of the spiritual life of a human.

   And wealth is called Qiyamah

    (Al-Nisa: 5)

وَلَا تُؤْتُوا السُّفَهَاءَ أَمْوَالَكُمُ الَّتِي جَعَلَ اللَّـهُ لَكُمْ قِيَامًا

(And do not give the weak-minded your property, which Allah has made a means of sustenance for you)

   This is the basis for the qiyam of the physical side of a human’s life.

And in this day and age, wealth is an obstacle to man’s imaan. Else that person who doesn’t have wealth is a handkerchief for others.

Maal insaan kay imaan kay liye dhaal hai

Warna jis kay paas maal nahin,  who to logon ki jaib ka romaal hai.

   He is a handkerchief in the pockets of other people, the wipe their noses and throw it away. A poor man is in such a condition today

   They have no standing at all in society.

In the matter of rizq, two things are important.

   One is that rizq also seeks the human, death also searches for a human. But rizq is faster than death, and reaches the person before death.

   And second is that the person who earns his wealth through sood, unlawful means, he becomes the enemy of Allah. He wages war with Allah swt.

Whoever bangs his head against a mountain of stone, would only break his head. And he who wages war against Allah swt, is responsible for his own destruction.

Taking Loans from Banks:

→ People say that take a loan from the bank, your business will go well. In running after these bank loans, we have seen thousands of businesses go bankrupt.

   So because of unlawful earning, the barkat of wealth ends, and by giving Zakat, the barakah of wealth starts. Whoever starts drawing Zakat from his wealth, Allah swt will start putting barakah in his wealth.

   And what is barkat? That a person’s wealth becomes kaafi, waafi, shaafi, for him. He doesn’t have to spread his hands before strangers. He lives a peaceful life on whatever he has.

   This is the fitna of this day and age

   (Surah Al-Qasas: 79)

يَا لَيْتَ لَنَا مِثْلَ مَا أُوتِيَ قَارُونُ

(O would that we had what was given to Qarun)

   (Surah Az-Zukhruf: 32)

نَحْنُ قَسَمْنَا بَيْنَهُم مَّعِيشَتَهُمْ

“It is We who have apportioned them their livelihood”.

   So the momin accepted the distribution of their Rabb. We have to sweat from our own side, after that, even if all we get is daal, we should thank Allah swt.

It was said to Da’ood (AS)

→ “O Da’ood! If you ever get even a shriveled, rotten vegetable to eat, do not look at the vegetable, look at the fact that when my Rabb distributed sustenance, He remembered me.” He is the one who sends this. He has remembered me, what could be bigger than this?

Should be a balance, and not an agitation, in the search for wealth.

→It should not be that a person is looking towards another man’s pocket, that If he does not give me something himself, I will catch hold of his waistband and snatch it from him.

→ If we place our expectations (tawakkul) on Allah, Allah will give you so much that you will cry “Enough, enough”.

Not all work is done well just by wealth.

   The more wealthy people there are in the world, the more anxious and stressed people there are.

   And all the more sick people.

   A man can buy spectacles with wealth, but not sight. A man can buy good food with money, but cannot buy good health.

   Man can buy good clothes with money, but cannot buy beauty.

   Man can buy medicines with money, but cannot buy health.

   And one can buy a body with money, but cannot buy the love in someone’s heart.

   And one can buy a book with money, but cannot buy ilm.

So even in this world, not everything can be done with money.

Purpose of Creation:

Everything can’t be attained through wealth even in this world, therefore wealth must be given the status (maqam)it deserves.

  • Allah s.w.t. created us so that we may worship him,

وَمَا خَلَقْتُ الْجِنَّ وَالْإِنسَ إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُونِ ﴿٥٦﴾

‘and I did not create the Jinn and Men except to worship me’

(Surah Zaryat, verse 56)

and not to earn and amass wealth. He doesn’t want that we wrok like donkeys from morning into the evening and not lose track of prayers.

Prioritizing:

  • We must prioritize the purpose (maqsad ko muqaddam karna). Allah s.w.t. surely Grants one’s share of rizq.
  • Story:

Once a man complained to Hazrat Ba Yazid Bustami about shortage of rizq. Hazrat told him to go home and throw out every person whose rizq falls under his responsibility. And whoever’s rozi is Allah’s responsibility, then what’s your worry?

He said if Allah s.w.t. Makes all the people in this world my ayyal (gave me the responsibility to provide for them all), and Makes all the land into copper, and not a drop of rain comes down, I wouldn’t worry about the rozi of all my ayyal for it, for Allah s.w.t. Provides for all. This was the level of certainty of our elders, in the zaat of Allah.

  • Story:

Bayazid Bustami prayed behind someone and when the imam made introductions, he asked ”min aina ta’kul?” (what is your means of earning, how do you eat?)

Hazrat replied: ”wait till i repeat the prayer I prayed behind you, as you seem to have developed doubts in the Provision of Allah s.w.t. ”

  • Story:

Someone mentioned the price of wheat has gone up.  A drunkard of Bannu said we’ve increased the price for ourselves, as rizq his going to come from Allah s.w.t. either way.

16 Golden Points:

  • The Prophet s.a.w. has told us how to overcome the difficulties/strain in attainment of rizq:

There are sixteen points we’ve collected from the Quran and Hadith. Think of these as a bunch of keys; each key opens a door to rizq. And the one to tell this is not some      random aamil, it’s Sayyad-ul-awwalin wa aakharin, the Prophet Muhammad s.a.w.

The same language we received the Quran in, is the same language we received the guidance (farman) of our beloved Prophet s.a.w. We should listen to these points        with faith in them and act on them to see the doors of rizq opening.

First: Salah

And enjoin As-Salat (the prayer) on your family, and be patient in offering them (i.e. the Salat (prayers)). We ask not of you a provision (i.e. to give Us something: money, etc.); We provide for you. And the good end (i.e. Paradise) is for the Muttaqoon

(20: 132)

In this blessed Ayah, Allah swt is making a Promise. And that Lord knows how to fulfill a promise.  So this is known that the house wherein all men and women pray with full preparation (will have Rizq).

Do Ihtimaam for your Salah:

One thing is called Dand-e-dar Namaz. If Men, they don’t prepare well for Jamat. If women, they prefer their household tasks hence they pray hasty namaz. No, not such kinds of Namaz, rather, pray a namaz with calmness. Not this way; that a woman is standing on the musallah with her hands folded but actually she is matching the color of her clothes and Man is standing on the musallah but actually he is roaming in the streets and markets. No, not that Namaz. Pray Namaz the way Namaz should be prayed, that is, with concentration and attentiveness. Try from your side at least, to fully pay attention while praying.

Reward on your effort for Namaz:

There is ajar/reward on this effort. In this world, reward is only on results, that you should achieve this then you will get the reward. Allah Pak is saying that you’ll get reward even on your efforts.  Therefore in Hadees-e-Pak it comes, “The person who goes with his brother to relieve him of his need, Allah swt grants him the ajar of ten years of Nafli I’tikaaf.”  This does not require that you had to get your brother’s work done, no, it is the extreme level of His mercy, and He is saying that to make your brother reach his destiny is not in your hands.  This is a matter of Destiny. What we’ll look at is, who takes the first step and who walks with him.

Try to say Namaz with in a proper manner and watch the opening of the doors of Barakas .My Lord has said that, “We give the Rizq”, hence you should tell every young and old in the house to pray namaz with preparation, I can swear for the providence of Rizq.

This is the master key for Rizq; Ihtimaam for your Salah and Allah swt solves your problems with it.

Second Key of Rizq:

Second key is Istighfaar. In Quran

And said, ‘Ask forgiveness of your Lord. Indeed, He is ever a Perpetual Forgiver. He will send [rain from] the sky upon you in [continuing] showers. And give you increase in wealth and children and provide for you gardens and provide for you rivers. (71:10,11,12)

Imaam Qurtabi(ra) says, that Rain comes when you ask for forgiveness from sins, Allah swt increases the Rizq of whole nations. .

Third Key of Rizq:

Infaaq fi sabeelil Allah – to spend in the way and cause of Allah Swt.

Quran:

وَمَا أَنْفَقْتُمْ مِنْ شَيْءٍ فَهُوَ يُخْلِفُهُ وَهُوَ خَيْرُ الرَّازِقِينَ

[34:39]

Whatever you will spend in the way of Allah Swt, you will definitely get the return/reward of it.

Can’t be that you spend in the path of Allah Swt and you don’t get a return.

INFAAQ – this comes form the word “NAFAQ” = a surung/tunnel.

In a tunnel, once someone enters it, only when he leaves it from the other end can another exit it.

Similarly, it is said only when you get rid of the Rizq you already have will you get more/further Rizq.

Quran:

  وَمَا تُنْفِقُوا مِنْ خَيْرٍ يُوَفَّ إِلَيْكُمْ

[2:272]

“Anfiq, Yunfaq alayk” Spend and Allah will Spend on you.

Abdullah ibn Umar RA used to say:

“Inna lillahi aqwaman ikhtassuhum bi ni’mil manafi’il ibad”

Some of Allah’s slaves are such that Allah has chosen them for the benefit of some of His slaves. Through their being the slaves of Allah get benefit.

This is their charter of duty. Whatever they get is not just for their own need, it is also  to deliver to others.

That postman who delivers the post keeps on getting promoted, and that postman who fails to deliver the post he is fired/disposed of.

You will see many people that their work/business starts really well and it is prosperous and then all of a sudden everything crashes. Reason?

What they had gotten was not just for them. They were supposed to have spent from it for the Sake and Way of Allah Swt, on the miskeen, on the divorcees, seekers of ilm, etc. But they just hoarded the money and kept checking their bank balance. Today these many millions, and today these many billions. Then Allah stopped sending/delivering the post from above.

Then they say: “there was a time that we would touch soil and it would turn to gold and today we touch gold and it turns to soil, someone has does something”  just definitely YOU have done something:

You had a good job, to give the slaves of Allah their rightful share. And how much were you to give? 2.5% of the whole wealth = zakat.

SubhanAllah, we have seen that people want to work for someone big, hence they want to work for abig company instead of a small one  and instead of a big company they want to work for a “multinational” company. Why? Because will get MORE and MORE benefits.

So how good would it be that we work for the Biggest? To work for Allah Swt. i.e whatever monetary wealth Allah has given, to count and give the exact zakat of it. Allah is that Parwardegaar, who for the sake of the 2.5% zakaat the rich give to the poor, grants the rich 97.5% of the wealth/the pay they have/get.

Pay = 97.5% wealth

and

Duty = just to pay 2.5% to poor, needy people.

Now that person who keeps the 2.5% with himself too, then Allah will deliver this Rizq through some other person and stop sending it to the hoarder who hoards it.

Rabiya Basria Story: 10 Rotis one of which the Maid stole.

Once Rabia Basria had some guests visiting her. The maid came and said that there has been a knock at the door and a man has come with some loaves of bread. Rabia said count how many there are? Maid counted and said they are 9. Rabia said, no this is not my share, return to the man and tell him to leave. Then there was a second knock, maid came and said there is a man at the door and he has brought some loaves of bread. Rabia said count how many there are? Maid counted and said they are 9. Rabia said, no this is not my share, return to the man and tell him to leave. 3rd time the knock came, the maid said once again a man has brought loaves, Rabia asked how many are there? Maid said 9. Rabia said, no this is not my share, return to the man and tell him to leave. Maid said why aren’t you taking these loaves of bread when you need them considering that you have guests over. Rabia explained to her that this morning I had a loaf of bread when a beggar came and I gave him the bread for the sake of Allah SWT, so it is my Allah’s promise that:

“Man jaa’aa bil hasanati fa lahu asharu amthaaliha”

That whoever brings forth a good deed, he will be rewarded ten times like it.

9 loaves can’t be mine. The maid begged for forgiveness, that I was hungry too and I used to keep the 10th loaf myself, they were actually 10 when they came.

Such perfect belief in the promise of their Rabb.

Story of Habib Ajmi rahmatullah alayhi

His wife needed  the dough and went to find wood for lighting the oven, a beggar came and said, ‘I am very needy, please give me something for Allah’s sake’. I.  He gave the dough his wife had just kneaded.  So when his wife brought the wood, she asked, ‘where is the dough?’. He said, ’I’ve sent it for getting the bread made.’ His wife had not even lighted the oven properly when the door was knocked upon, she asked, ‘Who is it?’ the person who was at the door gave her bread and gravy. His wife told him ‘wherever you had sent for the bread to be made, the person has sent us gravy as well.’ There is a sweetness in spending in Allah’s path. He who gets that sweetness then has nothing to worry about. Free from all sorrows.

Fourth:  To emigrate for the sake of Deen.

Allah SWT says:

وَمَنْ يُهَاجِرْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ يَجِدْ فِي الْأَرْضِ مُرَاغَمًا كَثِيرًا وَسَعَةً

And whoever emigrates for the cause of Allah will find on the earth many [alternative] locations and abundance. (04:100) {Surah Nisa}

He who emigrates in the path of Allah, will get a place of refuge, as well as expanse (wus’at) in rizq.

   Allah SWT says:

And if only the people of the cities had believed and feared Allah , We would have opened upon them blessings from the heaven and the earth. (7:96) {Surah Airaf}

If these people brought Iman, adopted Taqwa, we would have opened the doors of barakahs in the skies and earth

         In one place He says,

 لَأَكَلُوا مِنْ فَوْقِهِمْ وَمِنْ تَحْتِ أَرْجُلِهِمْ

They would have consumed [provision] from above them and from beneath their feet. (05:66)

         In another place,

 وَمَنْ يَتَّقِ اللَّهَ يَجْعَلْ لَهُ مَخْرَجًا

وَيَرْزُقْهُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَحْتَسِبُ

[65:2-3]

And whoever fears Allah – He will make for him a way out and will provide for him from where he does not expect.

Allah SWT sends down rizq from where one cannot even imagine.

Till today I have never seen a Muttaqi person as a dependent, who runs from door to door, to beg in front of others.  have you in your life ever seen a practicing Hafiz or a practicing Aalim, starving and struggling for survival?

We have heard that in the path of Allah people  passed away because of over-eating. Like Imam Muslim rehmatullah alyhi, who passed away because he ate too many dates, but we cant say they passed away due to starvation.

Fifth: ‘kasrat-e-ibadat’ (abundance in worship)

‘O Children of Adam, free yourself for My worship, I will fill your heart with ghina (self-sufficiency) and drive away your faqr (poverty)’

E.g of normal vs race horse: Price of a normal horse 20,000-25,000. Price of  race-horses in lacs. One of our very close Chaudhry Sahibs said our horse costs around 25 lakhs. The cost of one horse. So a normal horse, 20,000. A racehorse, 25 lacs. Now if somebody goes to the owner of a racehorse, and says I need it for use in my donkey-cart, he will laugh at him . The way a worldly person doesn’t appreciate using a racehorse with a donkey cart, by God, Allah SWT doesn’t like to tie a person who is on the path of Allah, to the world’s donkey-cart.

Sixth: Abundance of Hajj & Umra.

It comes in a Hadith, (49.08) “A person doing Hajj & Umra in abundance never becomes dependent. (49.20) A questioner asked, what does that mean? (49.25) Allah finishes your fear of poverty. It comes in another Hadith, (49.33) A dirham is rewarded by 700 dirhams.

Seventh: Sila Rehmi

Hadith narrated by Abu Hurraira RA, regarding how prblems concerning rizq are due to the way people treat their siblings and relatives.

According to deen saying salutations in mandatory and so is the response to it, developing upon that relationship is the choice of the individual

Tradition: Allah SWT grants three things if one fears ALLAH SWT and is nice to his relatives
-increases his age
-increases rizq
-saves from a bad death

Eighth: Spending on the weak increases ones rizq as mentioned by ALLAH SWT.

If Allah swt were to hold us accountable for our deeds, no living being would be left on the face of the earth.

Our merry lives maybe due to a dua of a faqir

Ninth: Tawakkal on ALLAH SWT

He who does Twakkal on ALLAH SWT then ALLAH SWT is enough for him

Tenth: to thank ALLAH SWT for His blessings

ALLAH SWT further increases His blessings to those who do Shukar

Hazrat Umar bin Abdul Aziz RA: ‘‘trap the blessings of Allah swt by being thankful  for them’

فَبِأَيِّ آَلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

(55:21)

Ibn Ata sikandari (unsure of name) his works of wisdom, seems that Allah swt has granted the prototype of Luqman in this Ummat

Putting a nukail in the blessings of ALLAH SWT by offering gratitude

Three people whose guarantee Allah SWT has taken Himself, amongst those three, one individual is he who says salam to the people of his household when he enters his house

Eleventh:obedience of parents

According to Hadith5 Things increase Rizk

1.   Sadiqa in repentence

2.   silah rehmi

3.   jihad

4.   remaining in wuzu

5.   obeying parents

   Hadith says, even if your parents are mushrik, be kind to them in this world. And if they are momin and are pious then take care of them and get the rahma of Allah Ta’la.

   A buzurk says I met someone whose prayers were always accepted. I wanted to know which of his aamal made him that. I told him that wanted to spend some time with him. He took me home and I saw that two pigs were tied in his house. I was surprised that such a God-fearing man had pigs in his house. I saw that he first gave fodder to the pigs and then he ate his food. Third day I asked him why he was doing that. He said these are my parents. They’d committed a sin and Allah Ta’la had changed them into a pig. But they are my parents I still keep them in my house and I take care of them I serve them fodder first and then i eat my meal and it is because of this Amal that Allah Ta’la has made Mustabajbuldawat

Twelfth: Remaining pure and in wuzu

   Hadithsome sahaba complained to Rasullullah about having to remain hungry to which he said try to remain in wuzu and Allah ta’la will expand your rizq
